Key Responsibilities:Efficient Stock Management: As a Flexi Driver, you will play a vital role in our warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include picking, putting away, and relocating stock with precision and accuracy. You will ensure all items are handled with care to maintain the highest quality standards.
Safe and Timely Deliveries: Utilising your expertise as a Flexi Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently. Plan and execute delivery routes to optimise time management and ensure timely deliveries. Adapt routes as needed to meet changing conditions and deadlines, maximising productivity.
Daily Equipment Checks: Conduct thorough daily inspections of the Flexi truck to ensure it is in safe working condition. Promptly report any defects or issues to your supervisor to maintain a high standard of equipment safety.
Warehouse Organisation: Collaborate with the warehouse team to maintain an organised and clean environment. Assist with the organisation and arrangement of stock to optimise space and improve efficiency.
Attention to Detail: Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all tasks to ensure accuracy and precision. This includes verifying stock numbers, quantities, and locations to maintain inventory accuracy.
Paperwork Management: Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery notes and stock movement records. Ensure all documentation is signed and collected upon delivery to maintain comprehensive records.
Customer Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating effectively and professionally with store personnel and customers. Address any queries or concerns promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Health and Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, including safe handling and transport of goods. Report any incidents or accidents immediately to maintain a safe working environment.
Team Collaboration: Work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals. Demonstrate reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude to contribute to a cohesive team environment.
Qualifications and Skills:Valid UK Flexi Pivot Steer licence from an accredited provider, dated within 3 years.
Proven experience as a Flexi Driver or similar role within a warehouse environment.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Awareness of health and safety practices in a warehouse setting.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
