You'll be part of creating a safe, nurturing home where children aged 10-18 can start to rebuild trust and thrive after experiencing trauma, disrupted care, and loss. Each shift you work means providing stability--whether that's helping with routines, joining in activities, or being a steady presence when things feel tough.

Key responsibilities include:

Building positive, trusting relationships with young people Supporting with daily routines like mealtimes, education, and bedtime Encouraging therapeutic and recreational activities, including outdoor play Responding to challenges calmly and compassionately Working closely with the permanent team to ensure continuity of care Keeping accurate records in line with safeguarding requirements
What You'll Bring

Experience in residential childcare or a similar care environment Confidence supporting young people with complex needs and emotional challenges A trauma-informed, empathetic approach Reliability, resilience, and strong communication skills A full UK driving licence Availability for 24.5-hour shifts as outlined above
