Key Responsibilities for the Flight Operations Administrator
Own the end-to-end administration of customer flight bookings, ensuring accuracy from initial reservation through to ticketing
Secure economy flights and coordinate handover with the tailor-made team once bookings are confirmed
Prepare and issue customer communications, including flight confirmation and pre-departure documentation
Arrange chauffeur transfers where required, ensuring all details are correct and confirmed
Process booking amendments efficiently, updating systems accurately and issuing revised documentation as needed
Issue flight tickets and carry out quality checks to ensure customer itineraries and internal systems are fully aligned
Monitor and manage airline schedule changes, proactively updating bookings and communicating impacts to customers and internal teams
Support daily team operations by monitoring the shared inbox, responding to queries promptly, and escalating where appropriate
Provide phone line cover for the Flight Operations team, managing voicemail messages and ensuring follow-up actions are completed
Required Skills and Experience
Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy in data input and documentation
Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven administrative experience (ideally within travel, aviation, operations or a similar environment)
Confident using booking systems and CRM-style platforms, with strong IT skills and data handling ability
