Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised, motivated, and experienced Aviation Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is a vital role within our operations department, where you'll be responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and managing all aspects of our daily flight operations. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll play a key role in maintaining operational control, supporting global flights, and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations.

This position operates on a 12-hour shift pattern, rotating between day and night shifts, to provide 24/7 operational coverage.

Key Responsibilities



Flight Coordination:

Plan, schedule, and coordinate all flight activities, including aircraft, crew, and ground services, to ensure efficient and timely operations.

Aircraft Monitoring:

Track and manage real-time aircraft movements, identifying and resolving delays or disruptions as they arise.

Communication:

Serve as the main point of contact for flight crews, ground handlers, and internal departments, ensuring clear, consistent, and effective communication across teams.

Operational Decision-Making:

Make critical decisions in real-time to manage operational challenges, while upholding safety, compliance, and efficiency.

Weather Monitoring:

Monitor global weather conditions and adjust flight plans accordingly in coordination with dispatch and flight crews.

Compliance:

Ensure all operations meet relevant aviation regulations, safety protocols, and internal company standards.

Permit Management:

Obtain and manage overflight and landing permits for international operations, ensuring all necessary authorisations are secured in a timely and accurate manner.

Skills and Qualifications



Minimum of two years' experience within aviation operations. Proven experience in global aviation operations or a similar role Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and flight operations procedures Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure Proficiency with aviation operational systems and tools Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
