Job Description

Catreus Limited manages and operates a VIP private and commercial travel solution for clients with a varied aircraft fleet to meet the customer's needs.

Catreus Limited are looking for an experienced and suitably qualified Flight Operations Controller to join our operation. As an Operations Controller, you will be required to handle all aspects of ground operations including but not limited to all aspects of Trip Planning, Flight Planning, Customer care, Maintenance planning, and aircraft and crew scheduling.

Responsibilities



Identify, understand and plan all flights according to the flight type and regulations appropriate for each operation.

Aircraft and Crew Scheduling ensuring the optimum use of resources (aircraft and crews) within the crew duty, Flight Time Limitations, Aircraft availability and maintenance limitations.

Work with CAMO, Sales and GOM to assist with Aircraft Maintenance planning.

Identify, coordinate, manage and document all relevant ground services for flight destinations, including but not limited to handling; fuel, catering, ground transport, and crew accommodation.

Identify, coordinate, manage and document all required flight permissions, including but not limited to; Overflight/Landing permits, Airport Slots and PPR

Manage and arrange customs and immigration services, such as GAR and EAPIS, and Pet clearance.

Worldwide Flight Planning, including but not limited to; understanding regulations, planning routes according to aircraft capabilities, crew certification and FTLs, AOC regulations, and weather, use of flight planning software, filing flight plans (IFR and VFR), creating and delivering Flight planning packages.

Understanding and disseminating NOTAMs, TAFs and METARs

Awareness of geo-political and security issues.

Worldwide flight watch to include the re-planning of flights to minimise flight disruptions caused by ATC regulations.

Working with Sales, Safety Managers, Crew, and Accounts to coordinate operations

Dealing directly with clients, including keeping them updated on the progress of flights, getting details on their flight requirements and their handler preferences and other flight requirements.

Providing excellent customer service.

Skills



Competent use of IT systems, such as Microsoft Office, Leon, Flight planning software, CFMU, Jeppesen AIP, Centrik

Excellent spoken/written English and additional language would be an advantage.

Flexible towards working patterns; the role is performed on a shift rotation with the requirements for on-call out-of-hours support. The shifts will include the requirement to work weekends, evenings and Public holidays.

Ability to work calmly under pressure

Strong team player with good communication both internally and externally.

Impeccable customer service skills

Exceptional problem-solving and organisation skills

Must be a resident of the UK and live within a reasonable commuting distance from the Office

27,000K - 35,000K Depending on experience
