We have an upcoming vacancy for a Floating Mental Health & Outreach Support Worker to join our company based in Bristol -

driving licence and previous mental health/care & support sector experience essential

Full-time (37.5 hrs.), permanent contract offered.

As a 'floating' support worker, you would be based with one of our teams in Bristol, but would work across several of our sites in Bristol, BANES & North Som., as needed, e.g. to cover staff annual leave, etc. - with rotas and work locations being confirmed and pre-booked on a monthly basis. Therefore, willingness and flexibility to work across sites and adjust to monthly rota changes is essential.



Hours are worked on a two-weekly rolling rota, with varying shifts between the hours of 8 am - 10 pm (standard shift length is 8 hrs.,), and a fortnightly weekend shift, either on a Saturday or Sunday (

no

sleep-ins/waking nights).

Our company is an established Supported Living provider for adults, with a regularly good/outstanding CQC rating, and we assist service users with a wide range of support needs, including: mental health conditions; alcohol and substance addictions; learning disabilities; autism/Asperger's; trauma; self-harm & suicidal thoughts; personality disorder, and other behaviours of distress. Based on Person Centred principles, our aim is to assist service users to develop or re-gain greatest possible independence.

Driving licence essential, as this role requires working across sites and as we also support outreach clients living in the community!

- Company fleet vehicles available for work journeys, or generous mileage allowance paid for staff using their own car (by agreement and subject to evidence of business use insurance cover).

We welcome applicants from all sections of society, including mature candidates. Previous support work experience essential for this position, although we can also provide all necessary training and may consider candidates without prior experience, at our discretion.

Package:



The hourly starting rate is between 13.00 (unqualified) and 13.38 (NVQ3 Health & Social Care or equivalent) qualified - or 25,348.41/26,088.65 annually.

Staff loyalty pay scheme with increases after 13 months, 25 months and upon completion of selected qualifications or promotions.
