Floating Support Worker

Salary : 26,423-27,300 per annum (13.55 - 14.00 per hour)

You will assist in the delivery of our floating support programme in Conwy, providing effective support to individuals in temporary accommodation projects. Maintaining a safe and welcoming environment through domestic duties, such as cleaning, room preparation for new service users, and food preparation, and contribution to the development of the floating support programme

About the role

Oversee the admission of new residents to temporary accommodation Assess immediate and ongoing support needs Accompany and assist residents with all aspects of the move into a new property, including viewing a property, negotiating tenancy start dates and repairs to move on accommodation, and securing furniture and providing information on local resources. Implement and maintain best advice techniques to residents in respect of re-settlement, welfare benefits, tenancy support, educational and recreational facilities available Build relationships with residents, service-users, external agencies Participation in staff development & training and support the overall ethos of the Trust
