Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and food production, demonstrating exceptional leadership and team management skills. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our customers receive outstanding service while maintaining a productive and efficient environment for staff.

3 days a week (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations, ensuring high standards of service and food preparation are met. Lead and motivate the team, fostering a positive work atmosphere that encourages collaboration and excellence. Oversee kitchen activities, including food production and preparation, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock without overextending resources. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty. Train new staff members in hospitality practices, food handling, and service protocols. Assist in scheduling staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, particularly in food service or kitchen management. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team effectively. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to help staff navigate challenges efficiently.
