Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that both staff and customers have an exceptional experience. The Floor Manager will be responsible for supervising the front-of-house team, maintaining high standards of service, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Duties

Lead and manage the front-of-house team, providing training and support to ensure excellent service delivery. Supervise daily operations, including managing staff schedules and delegating tasks effectively. Oversee food preparation processes to guarantee adherence to culinary standards and food safety regulations. Collaborate with bartenders to ensure that beverage service meets customer expectations. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution and satisfaction. Maintain a clean and organised environment in line with health and safety guidelines. Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new staff members as needed. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure smooth operations.

Experience

Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is essential. Strong background in bartending is highly desirable, along with knowledge of food preparation techniques. Proven ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for interacting with staff and customers alike. A passion for providing outstanding hospitality services is essential for success in this role.
