Floor Manager

to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities1. Daily Operations Management



Take part in and monitor front-of-house service throughout the customer journey: from greeting, food ordering, food delivery to taking payments. Ensure smooth daily operations and address any service issues or disruptions promptly. Develop and refine SOPs to maintain consistent and high-quality service standards. Conduct daily walkthroughs of the dining area to ensure readiness, cleanliness, and workflow efficiency.

2. Staff Management & Training



Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new front-of-house staff. Create and manage staff rotas based on business needs, including peak hours and holidays. Conduct regular training in service etiquette, product knowledge, and complaint handling. Oversee daily attendance, shift changes, and monthly timesheet reporting. Maintain and update the employee handbook, ensuring all staff understand and follow company policies.

3. Customer Service & Complaint Resolution



Monitor guest experience and proactively gather feedback. Handle complaints and emergencies with professionalism and fairness. Track and analyse recurring issues to support service improvement. Encourage positive customer reviews and help build guest loyalty.

4. Team Communication & Coordination



Maintain strong communication with kitchen staff to coordinate food delivery pace and resolve dish-related concerns. Facilitate regular meetings between front and back-of-house to align operations and improve collaboration.

5. Hygiene & Health & Safety Supervision



Conduct daily checks on cleanliness, table setups, staff appearance, and hygiene practices. Oversee restroom cleanliness and maintain cleaning logs. Ensure safety protocols are in place, including fire safety checks and emergency drills.

6. Equipment & Inventory Monitoring



Inspect front-of-house equipment (e.g., POS, lighting, AC) and report maintenance issues. Manage stock levels of consumables (napkins, menus, beverages, etc.) and coordinate timely restocking. Prevent service interruptions caused by shortages or equipment failures.

7. Billing & Supplier Coordination



Collect and submit utility bills (electricity, gas, internet) for timely processing. Review supplier performance and assist with contract renewals or replacements.

8. Cost Control & Efficiency



Monitor usage of beverages and consumables to reduce waste. Optimize stock management and energy usage (e.g., lighting, HVAC scheduling). Support implementation of cost-saving and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements



Minimum 2 years of experience in a floor manager, supervisor, or senior FOH role (Chinese restaurant experience is a plus). Strong team leadership and staff development skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities. Able to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in both

Mandarin Chinese

and

English

(spoken and written). Competent with basic office software and POS systems.
