The Italian Greyhound is a beautifully designed restaurant and bar in the heart of Marylebone, known for warm hospitality, elegant service, and vibrant energy. With a loyal base of corporate diners, neighbourhood regulars, destination guests, and visitors to London, every day brings something new. Alongside our busy restaurant and bar, we're proud to host private dining and events ranging from corporate dinners and birthdays to wedding receptions.


We're now looking for a confident and charismatic Floor Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on role at the heart of service, where you'll be a visible and welcoming face of the business. As part of an independent group, you'll enjoy exposure and opportunity beyond a typical floor role, helping shape service, culture, and guest experiences across the site.

What you'll do as Floor Manager:

Lead the floor with confidence, energy, and attention to detail during busy services. Deliver warm, elegant, and memorable hospitality to every guest. Build strong relationships with regulars, corporate clients, and event organisers. Run motivated and organised team briefings, setting clear expectations for service. Provide 'in the moment' coaching on the floor, supporting team members to grow their knowledge and confidence. Support the management team with daily operations, from planning shifts to executing private events. Motivate, train, and support the FOH team to uphold high standards. Contribute ideas and feedback to continuously improve service and guest experience.

What we're looking for:

A natural host with excellent communication skills and an approachable, professional manner. Strong experience in a supervisory or management role within quality hospitality. Confidence in handling a diverse guest mix, from corporate groups to tourists. Hands-on leadership style, with a passion for being on the floor and leading by example. Ability to inspire and develop a team through coaching, training, and structured briefings. Adaptability and a proactive approach in an independent, multi-faceted business.
