Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that both staff and customers have an exceptional experience. This role involves supervising the floor, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and service quality.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate daily front-of-house operations to ensure smooth service. Supervise front-of-house staff, assign duties, and monitor performance. Assist the Restaurant Manager with operational and administrative tasks. Ensure food, beverages, and service quality meet company standards. Maintain cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations. Support menu planning and discuss special event requirements with customers. Monitor stock usage and help prevent wastage to stay within budget. Assist in ordering food, beverages, and supplies. Provide training and development support for new and junior staff. Handle customer queries and complaints professionally. Facilitate effective communication between kitchen and floor teams. Maintain records and report operational issues as necessary

Experience

Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality sector is essential. Proficiency in food preparation techniques and knowledge of culinary practices is advantageous. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is required. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and customers. Experience in bartending is a plus but not mandatory.
