Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to lead our bar team in delivering exceptional service and creating a vibrant atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bartending and culinary skills, with a passion for food preparation and beverage management. This role requires effective leadership and team management abilities to ensure smooth operations within our establishment.

Duties

Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness. Manage the bar staff, providing training, support, and guidance to enhance their skills and performance. Develop and implement innovative drink menus that align with current trends and customer preferences. Collaborate with the culinary team to create complementary food pairings for beverages. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock without overextending resources. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe environment for both staff and customers. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for satisfaction in every interaction. Assist in marketing initiatives to promote the bar and attract new clientele.

Skills

Proven experience in bartending with a solid understanding of mixology techniques. Strong culinary skills with experience in food production and preparation. Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Exceptional organisational skills, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service excellence. Ability to work collaboratively with other departments, particularly the kitchen staff. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests.
