Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. The Retail Sales Associate will also play a key role in merchandising and maintaining the store's visual appeal and will also include physical tasks such as lifting and organising deliveries.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products. Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored recommendations. Effectively upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain an organised and visually appealing store layout through effective merchandising. Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle returns or exchanges. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment. Strong communication skills to engage with customers effectively and convey product knowledge. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory accurately. Excellent organisational skills to maintain stock levels and ensure the store is well-presented. Experience in merchandising to create attractive product displays that encourage sales. Experience in carpet retail sales is preferable but not essential for the right candidate, as full training will be provided.

Full time contract 5 days a week 9am-5pm to include Saturdays and a day off mid week.
