About the Role

We're seeking a passionate, customer-focused individual to join our flooring team. This is more than just sales--it's about helping customers turn a house into a home. You'll be a key part of their journey, offering expert advice, inspiration, and solutions that suit both their style and lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

Engage customers with genuine interest, listening carefully to understand their needs, lifestyle, and budget

Confidently recommend flooring solutions based on features, benefits, and suitability

Provide advice on colour schemes, room styling, and home design trends

Quote accurately, ensuring attention to detail throughout the sales process

Follow up on enquiries and quotes in a timely, customer-friendly manner

Maintain an attractive, tidy, and inspirational showroom environment

Stay up to date with product knowledge, promotions, and industry trends

Support colleagues and contribute to team targets and store standards

What We're Looking For

A passion for customer service and interior design

Strong communication and listening skills--able to build rapport quickly

Confidence in explaining features and benefits, not just selling products

Comfortable with general computer use (quoting systems, email, Excel)

Basic numeracy - able to calculate areas, measure spaces, and create quotes

A proactive attitude--keen to learn, help others, and take ownership

Previous experience in a customer-facing or sales role is preferred, but not essential
