Job Description

We are looking for a talented Florist assistant to join our team. As a Florist assistant, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

We are looking for a team member who will work initially 2 days a week, including every second Saturday, which will change on a fixed pattern of 4 hours per day. We are looking for someone who can be flexible with their hours and is available to be flexible on busier days and available during the summer months working extra days and hours particularly during weddings and events. There is a potential of these hours increasing depending on the candidate.

Floristry experience is of benefit but if you have a creative side we are happy to train any potential candidate.

A driving licence is essential to be able to deliver our floral designs to clients.

Duties:
- Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, funerals, and special events
- Assist customers in selecting the perfect arrangement for their needs
- Sell flowers and other merchandise to customers
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales
- Stock, warehousing and organise inventory
- Maintain a clean and organised work area

-Speaking to customers and over the phone and helping with admin tasks

Experience:
- Previous experience in floral design or a related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
