Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled FLT counter balance Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to all safety regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in warehouse operations and materials handling, seeking to contribute to a dynamic and organised environment.

Responsibilities

Safely operate FLT trucks. Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, ensuring proper handling and securement of items. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic repairs to maintain optimal operational condition. Manage materials handling tasks within the warehouse, including organising stock and maintaining accurate records using the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Maintain a clean and organised work environment, complying with health and safety standards at all times.

Experience

Proven experience in warehouse management systems (WMS) and materials handling procedures. Previous experience operating forklifts or similar lifting equipment is highly desirable. LICENCE MUST BE IN DATE AND BE AN EXTERNAL LICENCE Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle heavy lifting safely. Familiarity with warehouse experience including load & unload tasks, inventory management, and logistics coordination. This role is ideal for candidates who are physically fit, detail-oriented, and possess a proactive approach to safety and efficiency in logistics operations.
