Trademaster are currently seeking a large number of FLT Counterbalance drivers to work for a busy garden distribution company based in Pollington DN14 Near Snaith.

Pay is 13.91 per hour - After 40 hours paid at 19.06 per hour - WEEKLY EVERY FRIDAY

Shift is Rotating :

Week 1 = Monday to Friday 6am till 2pm

Week 2 = Monday to Friday 2pm till 10pm

Counterbalance certificate must be dated within the last 3 years & not in house.

Responsibilities

Safely operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed. Utilise warehouse management systems for tracking shipments and inventory. Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on vehicles to ensure optimal performance. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying the accuracy of orders. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, locations, and any discrepancies. Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimise logistics and improve efficiency. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during transportation and handling of materials.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Driver or in a similar role within a warehouse environment. Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment repair and maintenance tasks. Familiarity with warehouse management systems for effective inventory control. Ability to perform basic maths for accurate record keeping and order verification. Experience in materials handling, including heavy lifting (up to 25 kg). Forklift certification is preferred but not essential; training may be provided. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
