Generator Power is the UK's largest and privately owned generator rental company having enjoyed over 26 years of supply in the industry. Generator Power has experienced rapid growth and is undergoing further expansion providing an excellent opportunity for an FLT/ Semi Skilled Engineer to join our team at our Head Office in Normanton WF6.

Monday to Friday - 40 hours a week, 8:00AM - 17:00PM + overtime rates

Duties/Responsibilities:-

Loading and unloading of Generators, tanks and ancillaries; Completion and submission of all company paperwork as per procedure; Safeguard all Company assets; nothing leaves the depot without correct paperwork; Inspecting and booking in of equipment that is Off Hire; The movement of equipment between Buildings/Departments; Ensuring equipment is in the correct location in the yard(s); Ensure daily checks are carried out and documented, all defects are to be reported and rectified; Carry out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy; Always work in a responsible manner to ensure safe working practices. Follow Health Safety Quality and Environmental guidelines provided by the company - currently ISO 9001:14001 and OHSAS 18001 procedures. Proactively contribute to the company's policy of continuous improvement; Carry out any reasonable ad-hoc duties requested by your direct Line Manager or the Management Team.

Qualifications/Skills required for the role:

GCSEs High school or equivalent; Fork Lift Truck Licence B1/B2 Previous Engineering / Mechanical experience (Desired).
