FLT Warehouse Operative

Purpose

Working Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm. To replenish stocks ensuring all products are in place for the following day's customer orders, making sure all deliveries inwards are put away safely and correctly, meeting all company standards for health and safety, food hygiene, quality, security and productivity.

Key things you'll be doing

Operating forklift trucks in the day-to-day role, following all safety requirements to ensure the job is done safely.

Putting away incoming deliveries to ensure all shelves are as full as possible, whilst ensuring correct date rotation and safety protocols are followed.

Replenishing products on your designated isle's ensuring products are not damaged and date rotation is done.

Assisting with picking customer orders when requested to do so by senior managers

Strong ability to work in a team

Loading and unloading goods from vehicles

Assisting with the training of new members to the team

Sharing best practice on day-to-day jobs to ensure most efficient methods used.

Good attention to detail and strong 'Can Do' attitude

Key Skills

Reach FLT licence is essential

Ability to lift heavy objects

Good Team worker

Confident operating forklifts within small / tight spaces

Good work ethic with a reliable yet flexible approach
