Fixed Term Contract - 12 months

It\xe2\x80\x99s an exciting time to join our Property team at Sainsbury\xe2\x80\x99s. We\xe2\x80\x99ve brought our facilities management function in-house and are having a group wide approach across our brands to ensure that the facilities within our corporate, retail and depot operations are led with a strategic lens to improve service, meet cost efficiencies and our Net Zero targets.

As an FM Project Support you\xe2\x80\x99ll be supporting project management for the team of Store Care Managers. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for the output delivery on all projects with the store care manager team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll manage the structure of those projects and you\xe2\x80\x99ll ensure the structure is streamlined and in an easily readable format, ensuring everyone is updated on a weekly basis and holding the right teams to account for the project delivery. Through data analysis and insights you\xe2\x80\x99ll support the team in making right business decisions from a strategic perspective. The role offers a great opportunity to make a real difference in the execution of our transformation and day to day projects.

More about the role:

  • Review and be responsible in managing all projects in the store care team
  • Overlay all projects, keep the momentum going and provide structure and a consistent approach to all projects within the team
  • Provide support to the 3 Head\xe2\x80\x99s of Zone FM to support BAU FM and project delivery and to manage end to end projects based on all relevant date outputs required
  • Collaborate with the store care team to offer operational and analytical support to improve and enhance service delivery
  • Work cross functionally while using insight, knowledge, data, and root cause analysis to create pro-active solutions to mitigate issues before they become problems for colleagues and customers in our store care team
  • Responsible for building relationships with stakeholders in store care, FM and Property, to ensure a high level of service
More about you:
  • Significant experience in stakeholder management and cross functional teamworking
  • Experience within project management
  • Self-motivated, proactive and ability to prioritise
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate across all roles within the FM team
  • Good judgement, with ability to spot trends and issues to enable a better understanding of the scale and impact the issues could be having across the Sainsbury\xe2\x80\x99s estate
  • Proficient in using MS Office packages, especially MS PowerPoint
