The Role
We're hiring a highly experienced Programme Manager to lead the operational transformation of a global grocery business at a pivotal moment in its evolution. In this role, you will establish and embed a first-class programme management function, enabling high-performance delivery across innovation, supply chain, commercial, and strategic projects. This is an opportunity to shape how a fast-scaling FMCG organisation plans, executes, and governs critical initiatives.
You'll design a programme system that improves clarity, resource planning and prioritisation across global functions. From setting up a clear operating rhythm to improving transparency across workstreams, you'll bring order and momentum to a complex, multi-market landscape.
You'll work hand-in-hand with geographically dispersed teams, notably in South Africa (travel required)--supporting, guiding, and holding people accountable to high delivery standards. Whether it's driving the adoption of a new integrated business planning process or codifying what great execution looks like, your work will enable both day-to-day progress and longer-term transformation.
This role demands someone who thrives in the detail of delivery and the complexity of change. You'll work across functions and time zones, often influencing without authority, bringing people together around a common purpose. With the support of the leadership team, you'll help build the future operating model--shaping processes, systems and governance that unlock performance and resilience.
About You
You're a natural programme leader--credible, composed, and comfortable driving high-impact work in ambiguous environments. Your career so far includes time spent building and running programme management systems in a fast-paced FMCG setting. You've worked in and around supply chains, commercial teams, product innovation and finance, and you understand how to keep these functions aligned and accountable.
You know how to present and influence at a senior level--steering complex decision-making and unlocking blockers with confidence and empathy. Just as importantly, you're someone who builds trust quickly with delivery teams.
You've worked across geographies and with diverse stakeholders, and you thrive when bringing structure to complexity. If you've worked on programmes that involve South African markets or transformation efforts spanning multiple global regions, that's an added bonus--but not essential.
Above all, you are outcome-driven, collaborative, and energised by the opportunity to make things better--for people, for customers, and for the business.
Why Join Us?
This is an exciting time to join both Method Grid and the global client we're supporting. You'll play a central role in a transformation journey that will leave a lasting impact on the organisation. At the same time, you'll be welcomed into a growing, values-led SaaS company where autonomy, trust, and ambition come as standard.
We believe we're offering the best of both worlds: the influence and scope of a senior role in a globally recognised business, and the culture and agility of a purpose-driven tech company. You'll be joining a team that values output over hours, invests in learning and development, and celebrates people who take initiative and deliver.
If you're looking for a high-impact role where you can shape strategy and elevate execution, we'd love to hear from you.
