is responsible for making complex configuration changes to business-critical systems, reporting into the Configuration Manager. They work closely with the Product Team, business stakeholders, functional consultants, developers and testers to ensure the systems meet the business needs and follow the best practices.
Your core responsibilities
Carry out the complex configuration of system enhancements, extensions, and integrations using the industry standard tools. Configuring changes within Finance and Operations
Coordinate the testing and release management of the configuration changes, working with the test and release teams
Work with the Configuration Manager to plan the resource and training needs for the team.
Provide advice and guidance to users where necessary. Resolve incidents and system issues via Biffa Service Now portal
Provide input, advice and review for any application changes where required to ensure the proposed technical application changes meet the business requirements.
Keep up to date on software releases by software providers, advising the business on which modules to take and how the new releases will impact Biffa processes
Liaise and agree complex configuration changes with the development team, including code reviews and impact analysis of changes.
Work closely the Functional Consultants in developing Functional & Technical Design documents and implanting the required changes in the system as part of knowledge transfer.
Maintaining and updating security roles in Finance and Operations
Our essential requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
Experience in configuring and managing Enterprise applications and integrations. Specifically, Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations
Experience adhering to and enforcing the defined change control procedures.
Good grasp of development lifecycles, including Agile and Waterfall
