Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated person to join our vibrant bar/ bistro team. you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing recommendations when needed. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations.

Experience

Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions and managing orders. Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A genuine desire to help customers and create a positive experience for all patrons.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 30 per week
