About us
Norwood Leisure Ltd is a small family run hospitality business in Glasgow. We operate a bar/restaurant and separate children's Soft Play Centre in Bishopbriggs.
We look to employ a friendly, outgoing person to join our wonderful Bar/Restaurant team.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about the menu
- Upsell additional items, such as desserts or specialty drinks
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in with them throughout their meal
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Communicate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
Skills:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong time management skills to ensure prompt service
- Knowledge of menu items to assist guests with their selections
Note: Previous experience as a server is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the necessary skills and willingness to learn.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to 12.50 per hour
