Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time FOH Server to join our dynamic team at MANS Market in providing exceptional dining experiences.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of hospitality and a passion for guest services, ensuring that every patron feels welcomed and valued. As a FOH Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality food and drink service while maintaining a clean and organised environment.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and offering assistance with menu selections. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to food safety standards throughout the process. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer any guest inquiries effectively. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, responding promptly to any needs or concerns. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring that all items meet quality standards before serving. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Uphold cleanliness standards in both the dining area and kitchen, including proper handling of utensils and equipment. Process payments accurately and efficiently while maintaining a positive interaction with guests.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant is essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments. Understanding of food safety regulations and culinary practices is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services to enhance the dining experience. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure. A team player who is willing to help colleagues as needed to ensure overall success of service.
