This role is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons while ensuring smooth operations in the front of house area.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and positive first impression. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, demonstrating excellent upselling techniques. Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Assist in food preparation and maintain cleanliness in the dining area and service stations. Handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations for billing purposes. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns promptly. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide informed recommendations to guests. Food and drink knowledge Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all guests receive prompt attention.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices and culinary experience is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for handling payments and processing orders accurately. A genuine passion for guest services with the ability to create memorable dining experiences. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work well within a team environment. Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour
