Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive until their departure. Your role will involve assisting with various aspects of guest services, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and contributing to the overall dining experience.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere. Assist guests with seating arrangements and ensure their comfort throughout their visit. Take and process orders accurately, ensuring attention to detail in food preparation requests. Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to enhance guest experience. Upsell menu items and specials to maximise sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, adhering to food safety standards. Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food delivery. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally to ensure a positive dining experience.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is desirable. Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods efficiently. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining hygiene standards. Ability to upsell effectively while maintaining a friendly rapport with guests. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with guests and team members.
