Front Of House Supervisor/Barista

who shares our enthusiasm for great coffee & brilliant customer experiences.

Duties

Work alongside Store Manager to lead & support the barista team during shifts, maintaining a positive & productive environment Support stock control & opening/closing procedures Help train & mentor new team members Assist in all aspects of cafe service, including food & drink preparation & production, ensuring all items are prepared according to established recipes & standards. Maintain cleanliness & organisation of the cafe area, including dining & food preparation spaces. Adhere to food safety regulations & practices, including HACCP guidelines, to ensure the highest quality of food & drink are served. Operate kitchen equipment safely & efficiently, demonstrating basic mechanical knowledge when necessary. Perform basic mathematical calculations for portioning ingredients & managing stock levels. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food & beverages, & addressing customer inquiries or concerns promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow & a positive working environment.

Qualifications

Proven previous experience in similar position, with 1+ year's experience in supervisory role. Knowledge of food & drink safety practices, including HACCP principles. Basic mechanical knowledge to operate kitchen equipment effectively. Strong mathematical skills for accurate measurements & stock management. Excellent communication skills & the ability to work well within a team. A proactive attitude with a focus on delivering high-quality service in a busy cafe setting.
