Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our small but mighty team! This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring exceptional service and support throughout their dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for the hospitality industry and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and positive first impression. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilising basic maths skills for transactions. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods, maintaining a smooth workflow. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests or dietary requirements. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and waiting areas. Provide assistance to guests as needed, ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment. Previous Barista experience / cocktail making preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A culinary background or interest in food is desirable but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with customers positively. A proactive attitude towards upselling menu items and assisting guests effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 11.44-14.96 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
