Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly attitude. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently. Prepare food items in accordance with food safety standards. Serve food and beverages to customers while ensuring their satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and service stations. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food. Handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations for billing. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential; we are willing to train the right candidate. Experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment. A passion for culinary arts is a plus, enhancing your ability to engage with guests about menu offerings.
