Job Description

We are looking for a Food/ beverage assistant to join our team at Cobbs cafe located within Sterling Home in Aberdeen.

We are looking for someone to cover following shifts:

Tuesday 12-5pm

Wednesday 12 - 5pm

Friday 12-5pm

Plus there are always extra hours to cover.

The main role for these shifts would be clearing tables and doing dishes

Other responsibilities you would take on include -

Working the till and greeting customers, providing them with the best and most friendly service possible Making hot drinks efficiently and to a high standard Making sandwiches, paninis and breakfast food. Being a team player and helping colleagues where possible Ensuring that the cafe is properly cleaned throughout the closing routine
You would need to be able to work in a fast paced environment and hold a general high standard for both yourself and the cafe whilst doing so, as well as being a reliable and friendly team player who can provide a fantastic customer service experience.

We are looking for someone who can adhere to this and is also -

Experienced in working within customer service and handling money Experienced in making espresso based drinks (preferred) Have a basic knowledge of food hygiene, health & safety Great at communicating Flexible Dedicated
Whilst on shift you will get a paid break, free lunch and free hot drinks. Working with us will also provide you discount across other Cobbs establishments.
