Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a keen interest in food and beverage operations, including bartending, catering, and food preparation.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages in accordance with established standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and serving food and drinks promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, bar, and kitchen spaces to ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Support bartending activities by mixing drinks and serving beverages as required. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and address any guest concerns regarding their orders. Assist in catering events by setting up, serving, and clearing away food and drink items. Uphold high standards of hospitality by responding to guest inquiries and providing assistance as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is advantageous. Experience in bartending or catering would be a significant benefit. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A proactive attitude towards helping colleagues and guests alike.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
