Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring that all food and beverage operations run smoothly. Your passion for hospitality and attention to detail will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages in accordance with established standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the food service areas, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Provide attentive service to guests, taking orders and answering any questions regarding menu items. Support catering events by setting up, serving, and clearing food and beverage items as required. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and address any guest requests or concerns. Assist in bartending duties when necessary, including mixing drinks and serving beverages responsibly. Help train new staff members on food safety practices and customer service protocols.

Skills

Strong understanding of food safety regulations and practices. Excellent hospitality skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Experience in food preparation or catering is advantageous. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Bartending experience is a plus, with knowledge of drink recipes preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members. A proactive attitude towards helping others and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
