We are recruiting for the exciting role of Food & Beverage Assistant, who will support with the running of our busy front of house operations in the Restaurant within our Garden Centre.

What does the role involve?

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about creating a positive and memorable experience for our valued customers. You'll be responsible for taking and the delivery of food and drink orders to clearing tables. With your warm personality and exceptional customer service skills, you will build lasting relationships with our guests, turning them into regular patrons.

Responsibilities

Ensuring guests receive and are served high quality food and drinks. Clearing of tables, when needed. Operating our tills and providing friendly and efficient customer service. Greeting customers, providing food and drink promptly, handling payments. Ensuring cleanliness and safety within the restaurant. Performing tasks related to food and preparation, customer service and general restaurant operations.

What skills and experience do you need?

Previous experience as a Food and Beverage Assistant or similar role. Excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for cash handling and card transactions. Good physical condition, able to stand for long periods and lift heavy trays. Relevant training certificates or diplomas are desirable but not essential. Flexible working pattern.

Contract:

Full-time / Part-time role to cover holiday periods.

Salary:

From 10.42 to 12.24 per hour (depending on experience)

Hours:

Working hours and shift pattern to be confirmed via a rota-basis. Will include weekend working.
