Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and high-quality food and beverage offerings. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages to ensure they meet our quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of food preparation areas, adhering to strict food safety guidelines. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and serving food and drinks promptly. Support catering events by setting up dining areas, serving meals, and ensuring all guest needs are met during their experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest inquiries or concerns. Assist with bartending duties as required, including mixing drinks and serving alcoholic beverages responsibly. Uphold high standards of hygiene and sanitation throughout all food handling processes.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Experience in food preparation or catering would be advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential for success in this role. A positive attitude and willingness to help others are key traits we look for in our Food and Beverage Assistants.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
