Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a high standard of service within our establishment. This position involves assisting with food preparation, serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests. Duties

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items according to established recipes and standards. Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and efficient manner. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen and dining space. Support catering operations during events, ensuring timely service and guest satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Maintain stock levels of food and beverage supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Assist with bartending duties as required, including mixing drinks and serving customers at the bar. Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to guest inquiries or concerns.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Basic skills in food preparation and an understanding of catering operations are advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to work well within a team environment. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new skills are essential traits for success in this role. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 11.44-12.21 per hour
