Job Description

We are looking for individuals to join us at FlipOut Somerset moving into the busy winter months as a Food and Beverage Assistant in our Cafe and Kitchen for regular weekend shifts (must include a Saturday) and potential weekdays throughout the school holidays.

Example shift times outlined below (shift times can be amended to suit you where possible):

Saturday Shift: 9:30 - 15:30 OR 15:30 - 21:30 OR 12:00-20:00

Sunday Shift: 9:30-17:30

The role includes:

Preparing food and beverage items using standard facility equipment ensuring quality efficiency and customer satisfaction Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and cafe area to meet or exceed department standards for cleanliness, food handling and sanitation Ensure neatness, cleanliness and orderliness of the facility by; sweeping, mopping, stacking shelves, washing up, and removing waste. Clean all tables and keep tables and chairs straight and tidy. Properly store and label all products Keeping accurate cleaning and temperature records Restock supplies and maintain stock rotation Refilling and maintaining the cleanliness of Star Slush machines Operating the till and serving all customers in a polite and courteous manner Prepare customer orders to company specifications Perform other duties or roles as assigned by the supervisor/ manager Running our Ice Cream Parlour, serving ice creams to customers
This role is suitable for anyone, with or without experience, you will need to be energetic, a team player and confident to talk to both staff and customers.

Full training will be provided, including Level 2 Food Hygiene, Food Allergy and Intolerance, COSHH and Manual Handling.

Pay rate for the offered position (50p above minimum wage):

16 to 18 - 8.05
18- 20 - 10.50
21+ - 12.71

Job interviews will be conducted Monday - Friday between 10am and 6pm.
