Job title: Food and Beverage Manager
Basic guaranteed salary offered: 39,000
Working Hours per week: 37.5
Reporting to: General Manager
Supervising: Food and Beverage Team of 6 staff members
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:
? Supervise daily F&B operations, including bar, room service, and event catering.
? Ensure all areas comply with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
? Monitor staff to ensure excellent customer service is consistently delivered.
? Handle guest inquiries and special requests and complaints promptly and professionally.
2. Team Leadership:
? Provide ongoing training, coaching, and support to F&B staff.
? Schedule and coordinate shifts, ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
? Assist in onboarding and training new employees.
? Lead by example, ensuring staff adhere to hotel standards and guidelines.
3. Service & Standards:
? Ensure food and beverage presentation, quality, and service meet hotel standards.
? Maintain cleanliness and organization of all F&B areas.
? Assist in developing and implementing new service procedures to enhance guest satisfaction.
4. Inventory & Stock Control:
? Monitor stock levels, conduct regular inventory checks, and ensure adequate
supplies of food, beverages, and other essentials.
? Assist with ordering and receiving stock, ensuring all items are stored properly.
5. Financial Management:
? Support in managing budgets, controlling costs, and minimizing waste.
? Assist in monitoring sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction metrics.
? Report any financial discrepancies or concerns to the General Manager.
Requirements:
? Experience: Minimum 2 years in a managerial role within the hospitality industry in Food and Beverage operations.
? Education: Degree or diploma in hospitality management, or relevant qualification is preferred. Other qualifications considered depending on experience.
? Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
