Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of food items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices. Provide excellent guest services by responding to customer inquiries and needs. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Perform basic maths for accurate portioning and inventory management. Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge of food safety.

Skills

Proficiency in food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a busy environment. Basic maths skills for accurate measurement and portioning of ingredients. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Experience in guest services with a focus on enhancing customer satisfaction. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanour. Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: From 13.00 per hour
