Overview

We are seeking anew EXPERIENCED and dedicated person to join our team, providing exceptional service in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This role will involve weekday, evening and weekends shifts on a rota basis so is not suitable for students, ideally the successful candidate will be over 21yrs of age and be able to complete locking up duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with food and drinks service and should be knowledgeable within both areas. They should also have excellent customer service and focused on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation. Previous experience in a bar or restaurant settings is ESSENTIAL. This position will involve late shifts on alternate weekends so applicants must ensure they can get home safely at night

Responsibilities

Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner Have a great personality to be able to interact with customers Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, bar, and service stations Follow strict food safety and hygiene protocols at all times Manage guest orders efficiently using point-of-sale systems or manual methods Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Ensure timely delivery of orders to minimise wait times Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow Be able to lock the premises up safely at night when required Assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks as required

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bars is essential Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Ability to perform basic maths accurately for cash handling and order processing Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with guests Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings if required
