We are seeking a friendly, efficient, and customer-focused Restaurant Server to join our small dynamic Michelin-guide team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional dining experiences by providing prompt and charming service, accurately taking orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating as needed
Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about menu items or dietary restrictions
Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar
Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring correct orders and presentation standards
Monitor tables and anticipate guests' needs throughout the dining experience
Process payments accurately and handle cash, credit, or POS transactions
Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining area, and service stations
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow
Follow all health and safety regulations and restaurant policies
Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally and report to management if needed
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a server or in the food service industry preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Basic math and cash-handling skills
Must meet legal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
We are able to offer approx. 30 to 35 hours a week to the right candidate.
