Overview

We are currently looking for a bartender / Waiter/ess for full and part time positions.

Restaurant six is a 33-seater restaurant, arranged over ground and first floors, serviced by a small bar/servery.

The restaurant has an intimate, relaxed atmosphere, with an emphasis on providing the best customer experience, alongside a high-quality food and drinks offer.

You will be responsible for ensuring our guests have the best possible experience, alongside a small team. You will have extensive knowledge in all aspects of food and drink service. You will have great attention to detail, be conscious of keeping all areas of the restaurant clean and tidy and adhere to hygiene regulations. You should have experience and knowledge of serving all types of drink, and a basic knowledge of preparing cocktails.

Responsibilities

Greet and serve guests in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring a positive dining experience. Take and accurately process food and beverage orders, adhering to food safety standards. Assist in food preparation and presentation as needed, maintaining high culinary standards. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest services. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience in a fast-paced environment Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction Knowledge of food safety standards and practices Excellent hospitality and guest service abilities Basic math skills for handling transactions Experience in food preparation and kitchen operations Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
