Duties

Serve food items in accordance with established recipes and safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining areas, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Assist in the setup and breakdown of food service stations for events or daily operations. Provide excellent guest services by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing any customer concerns promptly. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Perform basic math calculations for order processing and inventory management.

Skills

Previous experience in hospitality or a restaurant environment is desirable. Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is essential. Strong skills in food preparation, with an understanding of culinary techniques preferred. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Strong guest service skills, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers. Experience in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and boost sales. Kitchen experience is an advantage, along with a willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.
