Responsibilities

Serve meals and beverages to guests in a courteous and timely manner, ensuring high standards of guest service. Assist with food preparation, including basic cooking, plating, and presentation tasks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with food safety regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system and process payments efficiently. Restock supplies and ensure all food items are stored correctly to prevent contamination or spoilage. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities. Follow health and safety guidelines diligently, including proper handling of food and cleaning procedures. Support team members during busy periods, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is essential; however, training will be provided. Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Good communication skills for guest interaction and teamwork. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. A friendly, professional attitude with a genuine interest in guest services and culinary excellence.
