Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. This role involves various responsibilities within the food service environment, including food preparation, serving, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. A background in restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and portion sizes Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas for service Provide excellent guest services by engaging with customers and addressing their needs Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience for guests Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods Perform basic math calculations for inventory management and portion control

Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
