The role
Brinsworth Academy is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Technician to join our growing Design Technology team.
You will play a key role in supporting students as they explore and develop their skills in construction and cooking, while assisting staff in preparing materials and equipment for lessons, maintaining and servicing equipment to ensure safety and reliability, and helping to create an inspiring environment in which young people can thrive.
We are looking for someone who has previous experience of working with secondary school pupils, along with strong organisational, communication and ICT skills. Attention to detail, a flexible and proactive approach, and a genuine enthusiasm for creative education and working with young people are also essential for success in this role.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant and creative faculty, supporting staff and students in delivering engaging, high-quality education.
