Budgetbase is a service company that owns and/or has corporate relationships with various other businesses. We have recently formed a wholly-owned subsidiary company to operate coffee shops within the Milton Keynes area, which we intend to develop from scratch.

Summary

We are seeking a Food and Marketing Manager to join Budgetbase, to oversee both the day-to-day management of the business and its marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for both helping to run the business and also developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage with the community. Your contributions will play a vital role in helping us to develop the business and to connect with potential customers and promote our services effectively.

Responsibilities

Working with the company's director to set up the operational business. Staff recruitment and training. Day-to-day management of food and drink preparation. Manage inventory, food costs, supplier relations etc. Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards (eg HACCP) are strictly followed. General financial oversight. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness. Manage social media platforms, creating engaging content to connect with the community. Oversee email marketing campaigns, ensuring effective communication with potential clients. Collaborate with the team to create promotional materials that reflect our values and services. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in a marketing role, preferably within the service industry. Proven experience in food management or hospitality (2+ years preferred). Strong knowledge of food hygiene regulations. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and training skills. Familiarity with social media management tools and email marketing platforms. Food Safety Certification will be an advantage.

Pay: 28,000.00-33,000.00 per year

Every weekend Monday to Friday Weekend availability
