Job Overview

We are looking for full-time Food & Beverage Assistants to provide exceptional service to our guests in all areas of the hotel including working in our Restaurant and Pub and across Events, Conference & Banqueting.

The ideal candidate will :

have a passion for providing excellent customer service. have a friendly approachable manner. be a strong team player.
No experience is necessary but is desirable.

Main Responsibilities

Assist in preparation and setting up of dining and event areas. Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Serve food and beverages to guests ensuring timely and courteous service. Communicate and collaborate with Kitchen and F&B colleagues to ensure excellent smooth service. Maintain knowledge of the menu and our products, including ingredients and preparation methods to assist customers with any questions or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of F&B areas, including clearing tables and resetting them, vacuuming etc. Assist with inventory management, stock rotation and replenishment. Assist with waste management, disposal and recycling. Take payment for food and beverage and follow company guidelines on cash and card handling. Hand in lost property found. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with a positive solution-based approach. Reporting to and seeking assistance from senior team members when required.

Contract & Hours

Full-time, days, evenings and weekends. Must be over 18 due to sale of alcohol.

Pay: 10.50 (age 18-20), 12.21 (21 and over).
