About the Role:
Our restaurant operates from breakfast through to evening service, across weekdays and weekends. Weekly rotas are provided in advance, with shift patterns varying based on business needs and seasonal demands. As a thriving hospitality venue, we host a variety of events, so no two days are the same!
Key Responsibilities:
Welcoming and seating guests with a friendly and professional approach.
Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
Serving meals and beverages, ensuring a high standard of presentation.
Handling payments (cash and card) and processing bills.
Preparing the restaurant and bar for service, including polishing cutlery, setting tables, and restocking supplies.
Clearing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout service.
Assisting with private functions, weddings, and special events as required.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in food and beverage service is not required.
A positive, team-focused attitude with a strong customer service ethos.
The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
A polite, friendly, and professional manner.
Reliability and flexibility to accommodate shift variations.
Christmas and New Year availability is essential
to be successful in this role.
Salary & Benefits:
Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience (hourly rate may be lower for applicants under 21, in line with age-related pay bands).* Monthly share of tips (pro-rata).
Enhanced holiday pay rates: Double time on Christmas Day and time and a half after 6pm on New Year's Eve
